The Painting Process with Wade Paint Co
The Initial Consultation
All of our house painting projects start with an in-depth walk-through of the home or business with our clients. The goal of this walk-through is:
- Collect project measurements for an accurate painting estimate
- Assessment of current condition of walls, trim, baseboards, doors, etc.
- Provide a written estimate & project timeline.
- Answer our client’s questions & get a clear understanding of the project expectations.
Prepping the Space
For interior painting jobs we ask that our clients remove any breakable or sentimental items from the space before Wade Paint Co. arrives. Our team will take care of the rest! We will be responsible for:
- Moving all furniture that is necessary
- Covering all immovable furniture, appliances and floors with drop cloths or plastic sheeting.
- Cleaning & sanding of all walls, trim, baseboards, etc.
- Removal of all electrical outlet plate covers.
- Filling in any nail holes & completing simple drywall repairs.
Project Completion
Now that we know your vision and the space is prepared, it’s time for us to start painting! Professionalism is our promise to you. Our crew will be on time, ready to get started. Whether you choose to be present for the project or not, our etiquette and work ethic will remain the same. We will continue to keep you updated on the project timeline every step of the way.
The Clean Up
Our team is passionate about always leaving your space better than we found it! Once we have inspected the completed project to see if any final touches are needed, we will then:
- Remove all protective coverings & thoroughly vacuum the space.
- Return all electrical outlet covers & furniture to its original location.
- Remove any trash, materials and equipment from the space.
